Mariner Calc Spreadsheet for iPhone App Reviews

Happy till I got into it

Its a great app until it locks up, while trying to save. Please fix with update soon

Update seems fine

All is working after this update.

Bug

It is interesting but ........ The only way to open a CSV file was to share it and open it with my computer, otherwise on my iPhone 3GS the application crashes constantly. Keep working dudes.

3 years using it

I love this app. I use it for as a log book for my flight time. The one thing I would like to see added would be to copy a cell and paste to another cell.

Useless

Icon does not show up in Dropbox in "open with" menu. The only reason I purchased this app was because I need to edit my excel files from my Dropbox. Waste of $5.

A good start

I had to give the developers some praise cuz this app has been almost indispensable on my job. The numbers I need for my reports are at my fingertips- ready when I am. True, the app needs more developing but it has the best function set at its price point that I have found. The two most desirable spreadsheet functions that I would like to see would be a checklist (true/false) function that could be used as a conditional and a time stamp function that could be used as a conditional. Also, it would be great if the developers would give options for data backup.

Used to love this now no!

I cant open a new document ! It says file system error. File not found. No support customer support anywhere. Very mad.

What, no glitches? A wont transfer excel files

I now enthusiastically endorse this spreadsheet. The last upgrade was helpful. Some hints for new users: the tool bar at the bottom scrolls sideways revealing more tools; the cell viewing window at the top scrolls down revealing the remainder of a formula you thought was missing; dont forget to click the "apply" button before clicking "done" when changing a cell; the Company has a website which might answer any questions I still have. I havent checked it out yet. Ive used this app regularly for almost two years now. When entering the date using the "now" function it gives the current date. When you open the app a few days later, it changes the date to the current one again. Excel also does this, so a guess its a compatibility issue. My old Apple Works keeps the original date as is my preference.

Glitches still

I have used this for three years, and every once in a while, it will forget every reference point on your spreadsheet and change them all to REF, ruining all formulas. I have manually fixed hundreds of formulas for the last time Mariner Calc, good bye.

Used to be great

Prior to the last upgrade it was a great app now documents wont save, freezes constantly and when emailing it doesnt attach documents any more
