Need french language please...

A APP parou de funcionar corretamente com o IOS7 dá mensagem: APP stoped working on IOS7 , we get the message: "file not found" when we try to create a new spreadsheet.

The header says it all. File transfer from Vista works fine. Editing on the ipod works in acceptable way. But Charts are not supprted. They are removed from imported Excel-sheets.

A main Problem is that Mariner Calc doesnt Support DropBox-Sync. Users asked about that over a year ago, but nothing happens really. So its useless for me, because its to inconvenient to Sync Files.

At last a spreadsheet that reads Excel files. It generally works fine, but the application does not retain things like thousand separator, dollar signs, etc. For some reason, this information is always removed when I exit the file. Makes it difficult to justify the high price tag!

Good program. I wish you could save on your own. it saves when you exit the program or switch to another program. I wish it had the option to save on your own or discard any changes. I have had the program autosave and after awhile it doesnt overwrite the existing file, it puts a (filename)#unsaved.xls tag after it and when i delete the original filename and rename the #unsaved version to the original it seemed to have just given me back the original document, not the #unsaved document. Overall good though.

I was very excited to see an app where I could use a spreadsheet on my iPhone. However I noticed a couple of things that dissatified me, hence me looking for an alternative. First, I would have liked the sheet to be able to use the "split" function given that the screen is quite small. This is not essential but would be very useful. The main reason I will not be using this app is because it does not support XLSX files. I am a mac user and this would be very helpful, but I even tried saving the file as an XLS before importing it and still it did not work. It said that an error occurred in saving the file and it could not be opened. I have no choice but to look for an alternative. Wish I would have known this before it was purchased today. Any way I can get my money back?

Disappointed that there is no filtering of data columns. Also sorting ascending or descending doesnt seem to work either. Also, the interface is VERY jumpy. When moving across the rows, you never know if youre actually still on the same row or not. Doesnt work for what I need it for -

I am a bit of a spreadsheet junkie and have tried most of the spreadsheet apps for the iPhone platform. Of all of them I find Mariner Calc to be the most useful. It is relatively straightforward to create quick spreadsheets for on the go calculations in the field, or simple off the cuff databases. Its supply of functions is reasonable given the limitations of the iPhone platform, and I have not had difficulties with spreadsheet transfers between phone and desktop. I keep this app on the first page of my launcher. Some of the difficulties mention in earlier reviews may be due to the interface. For example, the formatting settings stick fine on my iPhone - once I learned to press the Apply button before the Done button in the formatting menu. The iPhone is a different sort of platform (for me at least) and each new app seems to have its own quirks. Mariner Calc is, however, quite intuitive to use in my opinion.

V3 would not load my older spreadsheets, the app simply crashed. It would not load some of ITS OWN templates. They would simply crash the app when loading. Not very impressed with v3..

Works great and is easy to use

just love this app. It does just about all the things I need to do in a spreadsheet . i use it everyday and it doesnt give me me any hassle. Easy to use compared to some other spreadsheets.

Works great the only flaw I found was I had to save Excel spreadsheets to an older version In order to open them. I would not hesitate to spend the five bucks.

For 3 years I have been looking for something like this! Id always have to transfer my excel docs by email after edited now I can do it on the go!

Quick Office Pro was my app of choice for Excel but it died through some update at the end of April 2015. Crazy but I’ve been searching and buying a replacement Excel app ever since. I absolutely DON’T want to put my sensitive clients details up to any cloud service just to make my app sync. All the apps I tried that claimed wifi sync and full Excel compatibility including iSpreadsheet, docs2go, spreadsheet touch,Documents Free, and another with a big “D” for an icon don’t work right! None could actually use an Excel sheet imported into the iphone, seriously regardless of their claims. Most just used a “picture” of the spread sheet so you could’t look into a cell if there was numbers or text that was originally too large. e.g. a long 1-800 tel number couldn’t be shown if the original on the computer didn’t previously have that cell expanded. Further, some sort of worked if you first converted you Excel files into csv formats. This app works! Thank you! Barry

Im in sales and need to crunch numbers in real time, this really is perfect , like a mini excel in your palm, love it it rocks, easy to design specific to my situation ! Peace

It was really the best spreadsheet software for iPhone (I own the Numbers too, and have tried many other programs), but recently two things happened: - my spreadsheet file (consisting of 5 sheets) refused to calculate formulas - I had to revert to old copy and manually rewrite all new data; - the app authors (Mariner Software) prepared a universal version of the app, calling it Calc XLS, which version is 4.0, but they left Mariner Calc at version 3.9. Arent owners of 3.9 entitled to 4.0 upgrade? Why I have to shell out 5,49€ again, to not be left with old erroneous version?

Are you going to add opening "xlsx" format? When will it happen?

when I create a xls with excel and transfer to iPhone then when trying to save the file an error occurs,even with an empty sheet!!! This problem made me crazy. I would not buy from them before they put a lite version for evaluation. Quicksheet has not this problem with same files.totally disappointed.

Best spreadsheet out for iPhone. However, I just installed ios 10.1 on my iPhone 6 and as a result the row and column labels are no longer readable. I am looking for an update so the app that will be compatible with ios 10.1
